The Food

The choice of a Chef perhaps has been the most difficult, since I was looking for someone who not only cooked for a living but who does it with the requisite passion, the kind of passion that makes food into an art form. I found the right person in Armando – young and just ambitious enough, with the persistent desire to improve and astonish. What do we propose? No limits!

Fresh, homemade pasta, typical in the best tradition of Emilia : lasagne, tortelli, chicche, gnocchi, tagliatelle, passatelli, cappelletti and everything that you would find in a good, traditional Italian cookbook. And, then, typical Italian dishes, some of them revisited and proposed in new ways: marinated roasts, boiled meats, braised meat and other, different meat dishes.

We are not close to the sea but we do offer fish and we always do it well because we insist on freshness and the highest quality.
Since we have spent a lot of time choosing suppliers, we have selected partners that can guarantee the quality that we want, and, in some cases, we have been able to find LOCAL SUPPLIERS, less than a kilometre away. (If you want to know how to find them, we'd be happy to tell you.) They provide different kinds of prosciutto, salami, coppa, culatello and other cured meats, a speciality of the Region, that you may never have tried, first-choice cheeses, locally produced wines…these are what we propose.

Anything that we do not do, that you do not find or that you simply want, ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU (well, maybe not kangaroo... we could have some trouble finding that, but we could try...)
